Assessment of the structural adequacy of the road pavement of the Central Greece Highway (E-65) in the section Xyniada – Trikala A/C and in the Xyniada connecting branch by applying non-destructive methods, coring, laboratory tests and assessment of the bearing capacity of the individual road layers using back calculation software. Elaboration of a study for the assessment of the required maintenance/reinforcement of the road surface by applying an analytical calculation method in order to develop work plan and costing alternatives for a design life of 20 years.

Execution of asphalt mix design and determination of mechanical characteristics of asphalt ( stiffness, fatigue, resistance to rutting).

Construction sites: Pigaditsa Grevena, Stirfaka, Agios Stefanos & Lianokladi Lamia.

Testing of aggregates suitability for use in concrete  – EN laboratory tests

Execution of concrete mix design according to the KTS 2016

(concrete strength classes: C12/15, C16/20, C20/25, C20/25 New Jersey, C25/30, C25/30 piles, C30/37, C30/37 piles, C35/45, C40/50, GUNITE, Porous concrete)

Testing of aggregates suitability for use in asphalt concrete – EN laboratory tests

Bituminous binder test for use in asphalt concrete – EN laboratory tests

Execution of asphalt mix design, in accordance with the applicable National Technical Specifications

Suitability check of soil materials from excavations and borrow pit, for use in road construction projects, in accordance with the applicable National Technical Specifications – EN laboratory tests

Check of suitability of aggregate piles for filling gabions (Serasanetti )

Checking the bearing capacity of the pavement using an FWD – Falling Weight Deflectometer
